Prajna's Poetry and Writings

The Wind of Illusion

I first went out,
twilight peeking
through the forest

I walked further
toward the shimmering lake,
dusk disappeared.

Walking continues,
solid feet feel where to go
even when
the eyes aren’t seeing.

The shore is available
by the hallow glow
of loves shining,
upon, through and in
water of no boundary.

This glow from empty sky
shines upon the water
I saw an image
of a man and woman
roasting marsh mellows
over a fire they kindled
one twig at a time

Passing the blessing
of bittersweet chocolate
between their velvety lips
caressing each others eyes
with irrevocable delight
tickling the soul of one flame
one moon, one water,
and dancing fearlessly
beyond the wind

The wind of illusion
the fog, the running
the shoulds
the should nots
that keeps love’s doorway
hidden in the clouds.

Now, dawn is waking
and fresh light commences
Light unable to forget
the dusk of love’s dark moon.

This love is true.
